The Materials Science and Engineering Department at Stanford is composed of a diverse group of people that are pushing the boundaries of research and creativity across several disciplines. Our Faculty work to solve both small and large problems, and continuously strive for innovations that benefit all. Our Lecturers work with Undergraduates to provide a robust introduction to Graduate research and education. Our staff serve as stewards to both the department and the University as a whole.
